You wanted to find out about me?

Why? I would really like to know; in fact, I would order you to tell me if I could. Seriously, you are here, what the hell: bitch at me, moan complain, pose a question or quandry, make a remark, do whatever.
Oh yeah, This page is best viewed with LYNX If you don't have it, get it! I really like their way of working with the <SELECT> tag.

I think this is where you are supposed to see a picture of me. I guess that I should, although those with weak stomachs should understand that they have been warned.

I really want to see what Biell looks like. Remember, enter at your own risk. It is an old picture, I don't have alot of time to play around with this web page anymore, sorry.

This is how I would define myself:

Me:
My birth name is William David Totten, I use the nickname Bill, some of my friends call me Biell, one of my friends calls me CN or Loser.

I was born 12 June 1975. Which makes me 27 years old for those too lazy to do the math. I was, therefore, born during the Holocene Epoch. I was born in Orange County, New York, USA where I lived until the age of . Which means that a beam of light traveled more than 1.14e17 Meters during my stay in New York. After that, I moved to Hockessin, Delaware, USA. Currently, I reside in Newark, Delaware, USA. It is a nice college town which used be the home of the greatest bar on earth until it was sold to a moron who ruined it. I would tell you more about Delaware, but there really isn't much, I wish there were, believe me.

I am tall. I have dark brown hair and gray/blue/green eyes. I weigh approximately 165 Pounds, which is fairly light considering some Brits carry more than that around in their pockets. I really just look painfully average; which is sometimes a curse and sometimes a blessing. I am like that person you pass on the sidewalk, look directly at his face for a couple seconds, but then cannot recreate the image accurately in your mind when you get back to the office.

My sister thinks I am too cynical at times. I guess this is the case; however, I know of many people who are more cynical than me. Why not be cynical anyway, it is not like anyone is standing over me with a silver platter and protecting me or anything. Not that I think that everybody should be cynical --skeptical, but not cynical. Without happy people, the world would be rather boring. Maybe I should be happier, and then I may be less cynical. I guess we will just have to wait and see. ... UPDATE: Apparently, people do not think me to be overly cynical anymore! I guess I traded in cynical for for realist. Define realist: someone who accepts that nobody cares the world is going to hell in a handbasket and that over time they stopped listening and began to tune you out.

The whole thing may be that I think too much. It has been my experience that the happiest people in our society are that way because they do not ask themselves the hard questions and just go on being led and following. Take, for example, micro$heep. I do not like sheep, people should think for themselves more and maybe then they would realize some of the lies which are fed to them day in and day out. I mean, hell, micro$heep follow a man named Gates, what do Gates do? They enclose the sheep so they can not escape. This stifles progress and is not very conducive to advancement. I prefer to roam free and clear under the not-so-watchful and way more innovative eyes of the large Linux kernel development team. But I guess that the sheep only feel safe when they are safe in side the Gates where no one can get in or out.

The obvious what do I do segment: I am a UNIX Security Systems Administrator for a large bank. There is not much else to tell about it. It is a pretty good job, I certainly cannot complain too much. I get to look at that all important side of systems administration that is way to often forgotten. And I find it to be pretty rewarding.

As you can probably tell(if your browser supports coloring attributes in the <BODY> tag, you are using a text based browser and your console colors are set correctly, i.e.: green on black), or your browser supports cascading style sheets, I like the colors Black, Green, and Blue. Isn't my blue nice, If you can fit it in your color-map, or it is dithered correctly(i.e.: you aren't using any micro$hit currently) then it should be a deep blue with a touch of purple; it's hex format is: #44e. My sympathy to you users who cannot see this cool color:
(but if you want to, then follow the link:)[#44e]

[Linux2.4 Logo] I am proud to run Linux at home.

There is more, but I wouldn't want to bore you any more than I already have.

One last thing; is it fair to hate anyone who uses the <BLINK> tag?
